A very misguided wasp decided to try and build her nest on the underside of our folded-down garden umbrella. Perhaps she thought she'd found a good hiding place... perhaps she thought that "leaf" was real.
Suffice to say, she was "mad as a hornet" when she returned with more mud to continue her home improvement project, only to find that her home was nowhere in sight! And by now, my mother has put her out of her misery.
C'est la vie morte.
