Ooooo... I just took a look at my Sitemeter and noticed I'm just about 100 75 clicks away from hitting 10,000!
That's 10,000 visitors since July of last year (I started the blog in February but didn't add the Sitemeter until much later). 10,000 stars in my own little "constellation" called The Bold Soul. 10,000 lovely people -- with excellent taste in blogs, I might add -- who decided to spend a few moments out of the day with me... and I'm sure, more than a few who just wandered in by mistake, grimaced in disbelief, and promptly left again 5 seconds later. But hey, you can't please everybody.
I'm really honored and flattered to discover that so many people like my blog and come back again and again. Without people to read what I write, am I still a writer? (If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it...) So thank you to all of you who do stop by, whether by design or by accident, and stay to read, and comment, and link me to your own blogs, and tell your friends. Your very continued presence here encourages me, beyond mere words.
Oh, the suspense... will The Bold Soul reach the magic number of TEN THOUSAND visitors today, the TENTH of May 2006? There would be such lovely synchronicity in that, if it did happen.
