Day 3, Saint-Raphaël, the old port and Saint Pierre church at sunset. We had a lazy morning, a quick trip to the one supermarket that is actually open for a half-day on Sundays, a nice late lunch at home with my sister-in-law. Then, a walk to a beach with comfy lounge chairs, umbrellas and cabana boys who will bring anything off the beach-front restaurant's menu, including cocktails. We swam, played football, read books, and dozed in no particular order until 7pm. Now installed in a great Italian restaurant having an apéro of pastis and antipasto before a main course of the best pizza in town. Will follow with ice cream while we stroll the harbor, checking out the regular Sunday night craft bazaar, making our way to another beach for fireworks at 10pm. If that's not a vacation, I don't know what is. And we have another 6 days of this. Sometimes I really love my life. Hope your weekend has been as satisfying.
